Tendances I

Every fashionista has her or his own sense of style and taste in fashion.

I am again collecting pictures of celebrities and fashion bloggers with their fashion TENDANCES (French for tendencies).

This is a kick off!

and it starts with Rachel Bilson and Karla Derass.

Common Trend I

Can you tell what's trending ?

This is a kick off for my guess-the-trend series.

Comment on what's the common trend per picture.
Enjoy!

StyleSighs I

I ran over chickdowntown and played dress-up / pair-up wih their clothes and shoes.

See the output above?
and am calling it stylesighs by 27chic (styling guided by my fashion advocacy).

Rock the World With Maxi

Maxi dresses and maxi skirts are on trend again (and again), I visited blogs of this and this
and saw that this has been a staple for fashionistas worldwide.

What is a MAXI DRESS?
Wikipedia defines it as is a floor or ankle length informal dress. Maxidresses are formfitting at the top and loose flowing at the bottom, cut to flow over the body. Usually made out of cotton or polyester. They come in a variety of necklines, colors and patterns.

Beautiful, gorgeous and fabulous are the comments you will surely get in wearing maxi dresses and maxi skirts.

I also own some maxi pieces.
I like wearing it because of the breezy, unsullied feeling it gives.

Selena

This disney talent is a budding fashionista. Got some pics of Selena via google, showcasing her fashionista moments. Made personal descriptions of her outfits.

F.Y.I. via wikipedia
Selena Marie Gomez (born July 22, 1992) is an American actress and singer-songwriter best known for her portrayal of Alex Russo on the Emmy Award winning Disney Channel Original Series Wizards of Waverly Place.

+++ f.y.i.
She was born in Grand Prairie, Texas to Ricardo Gomez and former stage actress Mandy Teefey (née Cornett).[Her father is Mexican American and her mother is of Italian descent. Her birth parents divorced when she was five years old, and she was raised as an only child by her working mother. In 2006, Mandy remarried Brian Teefey. She is named after Tejano singer Selena. In a 2009 interview with People, Gomez mentioned that she developed an early interest in acting from watching her mother prepare for and act in theater productions. She earned a high school diploma through homeschooling in May 2010.

I am not a fan of hers, but I am quite stunned with her choice of clothes and sense of style. I do not know if the credit is due to some personal stylist, but the fashion work going on with Selena's style is gearing to an acme of becoming a 'fashion icon' (in-the-making).

You may disagree with me.

Fashion Experiment on 10-10-10

Will we still be alive on the next 10-10-10?
Definitely it's a big NO.
And while we are still alive, let's savor every minute, thinking always of our loved ones and thanking God for all abundant blessings.
My day today is just another ordinary Sunday,
but I did not pass the chance to capture 'me' today.

Fashion Experiment:

I Can Do BOUDOIR
"Boudoir" is a French for a woman's bedroom or private chambers, but when we use the term in fashion, it refers to to clothes that are inspired by corsets, pajamas and racy lingerie, and this trend suggests a kind of saucy chic. -Instyle magazine June 2009 -

and my version...

wearing this to White Gold Club earlier this morning:
Chicabooti striped in b/w tee with polka dot bow - gifted by sis from Sydney, Australia
fuchsia plaid pajamas - SM
studded black canvas rubber flats
silver embellished accessory earrings

It's Complicated...a status on the defunct?? social network site Friendster...

that i find soo amazing because of the COMPLICATIONS imbibed
onto the crafting of such astonishing pieces.

This is a kick off also of my iT's Complicated series:
a selection of dresses from the world wide web
- outrageous, artsy, architectured -
(in my own opinion and judgment)

The streets on my way to work is filled with vertical streamers shouting
for Bijoux Cebu 2010 at the Shangri-la.
Without hesitation, we did not pass the Sunday that was (September 19, 2010) to enjoy Green Jewelry and at the same time sightsee the famed and posh resort and spa in Mactan.

f.y.i. by definition bijoux refers to delicate trinkets

my mom bought a table runner and 6 pieces placemats made of these native materials

on me:
magenta dressy top with black mesh and chocolate cotton tiers from 138
my favorite vintage black twill shorts underneath
chocolate tie-up flats with gold details from So Fab
