Giuseppe Zanotti

Giuseppe's Story

Giuseppe Zanotti comes from a small town a few miles from Fellini’s Rimini, famous for its great shoe manufacturing tradition. In the early 1980’s Zanotti was a fiery DJ and patronized eclectic and fashionable nightspots. Shortly afterwards his instinctive bent for art, design and fashion led him to attentively follow the prêt-à-porter fashion shows in Milan and Paris. But it was his innate passion for women’s feet and his interest in the craft industry that his native town breathed that spurred him to take the first big step towards this profession....
He focused everything on a formula of creativity and craftsmanship of the highest level....
Over the years his spirit has remained the same - naïf and rock ‘n’ roll – while keeping one eye on the past and on the manufacturing tradition and the other on the future and on research. His creations are true to his initial inspirations, where art and music are essential feelings to be turned into style for our feet… feet that Zanotti does not want to cover with models, but rather to adorn out of regard for a woman’s beauty and for the world revolving around her.

Food, not superb, somewhat mediocre in taste, serving = quite enough

Fajita Salad, priced right, expectations met somehow
Food rating: 7

What/Where I Ate - Shanghai 2010

This post begins my collection of pictures of the f-o-o-d-s I ate from various fast food chains or restaurants.
I am giving my personal rating of those foods i have tasted in the respective eateries,
with ten (10) as the highest.
The pictures below were from our travel in Shanghai last June.
(sad, since I was not able to remember the names of the dishes)

Cafe de Coral at Super Brand Mall 5th floor- Lujiazui Lu 168, Pudong, Shanghai
the sunny-side up makes it quite good, I was hungry then so I almost completely consume everthing on my platter, my drinks? i could not remember what was it

Yoshinoya at 479 Nanjing Road (E), Shanghai
got amazed though with the extra large soda, everything else was tasteless,
but I  really have to eat because I was already starving
I doubted if this was finally an authentic Chinese street local food chain since my side dish included Kimchi-like (or it tasted really like kimchi).  My drinks was milk tea - at first, ewe (since I'm not used to it) but later it also saved the meal (thanks to the Kimchi also) since my main dish tasted ''nothing''.  Since as usual I got caught by my starvation, so I have to eat or else...  still striving to get my tummy full with my number one eating tool in China: chopsticks!

Dakota

Dakota Fanning...
I kind of find her pretty, witty and a great actor, really.
Here's a biography of Dakota Fanning via wikipedia:

Hannah Dakota Fanningborn February 23, 1994, better known simply as Dakota Fanning, is an American actress.

Dakota Fanning was born in Conyers, Georgia, the daughter of Joy (née Arrington), who played tennis professionally, and Steve Fanning, who played minor league baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals and now works as an electronics salesman in Los Angeles. Her maternal grandfather was former American footballplayer, Rick Arrington, and her aunt is former ESPN reporter Jill Arrington.Dakota is the older sister of Elle Fanning, also an actress.

Fanning is of half German descent and her last name is of Irish origin. Fanning and her family are Southern Baptist. She attends Campbell Hall School inNorth Hollywood, California, and is on the varsity spirit cheerleading squad.

Fanning's breakthrough performance was in I Am Sam in 2001. As a child actress, she appeared in high-profile films such as Man on FireWar of the Worlds, and Charlotte's Web. Fanning began transitioning to more adult roles with Hounddog and The Secret Life of Bees. She has won numerous awards and is the youngest person ever to have been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Dakota,
then and now...

here she is now,
